ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Abstract Submission:

  •  The abstract submission deadline has been extended to September 22, 2023.

The AMC Committee will solicit oral and poster submissions from 15 March 2023 until 22 September 2023. Both oral and poster presentations will be reviewed by the scientific committee for acceptance in the program relevant to following themes;

  • CS-1 Fungal systematics and diversity 
  • CS-2 Exploitation of fungal diversity 
  • CS-3 Ecology and climate change
  • CS-4 Fungal genetics, genomics and bioinformatics
  • CS-5 Fungal physiology and biochemistry
  • CS-6 Fungal interaction 
  • CS-7 Fungi-like organism
  • CS-8 Fungal metabolite
  • CS-9 Nomenclature
  • CS-10 Culture collection and database 
  • CS-11 Freshwater and marine fungi (IMFMS & NNIBR joint session)
  • CS-12 Medical mycology
  • CS-13 Food mycology and safety
  • CS-14 Mushroom biology and cultivation technology
  • CS-15 Young scientist (10 min and 3 min flash talk)
  • Special Interest Group (SIG) Symposium of “Mycobiomics”
  • Workshop on Freshwater and Marine Fungi (organized by NNIBR and IMFMS)

Since we will NOT be editing abstracts for participants, please remember to fully edit and carefully proof your content before submitting. Abstracts must be in final form with no grammatical, typographical, or factual errors.

The number of acceptances for oral presentations will be limited, please submit EARLY in order to fit into the meeting program and meeting space availability. A single registration can cover “Three” oral or poster presentations.

Specifying a preference between oral or poster does NOT guarantee placement in that area. Final presentation type will be determined by the scientific committee.

All submissions will be reviewed for acceptance as they come in with notifications of acceptance being emailed to the presenter (as designated on the abstract submission form). Notification of acceptance will be emailed to the presenters by 10 September 2023 as well as posted on the AMC website.

Every presenter of the oral or poster abstract must make the payment by 5 September 2023 otherwise the abstract will be withdrawn.

Submission Guideline

These instructions are provided to help authors prepare ABSTRACT for submission to AMC2023. All submitted papers will be in a process of peer review and all accepted papers for either oral or poster presentation will be distributed to the participants on the conference website. It is the responsibility of the author to follow the instructions restrictively.

1. Authors’ responsibilities

1.1 All submitted ABSTRACT must be in good, grammatically correct English. Authors are fully responsible for the correction of language.

1.2 Major corrections cannot be undertaken by the AMC committee, and no proofs are provided.

2. Submission of abstract

2.1 ABSTRACT SUBMISSION will open on 15 March 2023. Authors must acknowledge that at least one author of accepted ABSTRACT has to register with AMC and remit the registration fee. Single registration can cover 3 abstracts.

2.2 ABSTRACT should be written on our online submission website. The format should be complied with the guide on the website.

2.3 It is convenient to write an abstract in a word file first, then copy it into the online abstract editor.

2.4 You can edit your submitted abstract on My Page after logging in.

2.5 Please refer to the SAMPLE ABSTRACT.

2.6 Please enter the first name, last name and affiliation of each author, and if there is more than one author, please add an author to enter all authors.  

3. Abstract length

The maximum acceptable length of ABSTRACT is up to 250 words maximum.

4. Nomenclature and units

4.1 Please take care that all terminology and notation used will be widely understood. Abbreviations and acronyms should be spelled out in full at their first occurrence in the text.

4.2 SI units are strongly recommended.
