Six New Recorded Boletes from Mudeungsan National Park in Korea

The Mudeungsan National Park is located in Gwangju and Jeollanam-do, South Korea. The indigenous fungi in the park were investigated between 2020 and 2022. All collected specimens were identified to the species level based on their morphological characteristics and rDNA sequences. This survey identified 351 species of macrofungi in Mudeungsan National Park, which were classified into 2 phyla, 5 classes, 14 orders, 51 families, and 115 genera. Species belonging to the family Boletaceae were analyzed in depth. Six species, Aureoboletus sinobadius, Hourangia densisquamata, H. nigropunctata, Tengioboletus glutinosus, Tylopilus himalayanus, and Xerocomus subparvus were newly recorded as macromycota in Korea.
